Clelie Cyrius,
Family Development Director
Clelie has been working with children since she was a child herself. Gathering children in her mother’s home to give life advice, kids have been naturally drawn to Clelie’s loving and disciplined nature. Upon graduating high school, Clelie moved to the Dominican Republic and was trained in community development and mission principles working in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Upon her return to Haiti, she was married to Danilo and co-founded Konbit Haiti in 2014. She then started her after-school ministry and summer camp under the umbrella of Konbit. She then attended school for education and administration to further her reach. Her after-school program and camp program has grown from 30 kids to 300 over the last near decade and has been honored by the mayor of Montrouis for her contributions to the community.
Clelie loves cooking, working with children, raising her son Samy, and spending time with friends and family.
